D'AMICO WILLIAM
PHD Student in Information Technology
William D’Amico was born in Bergamo (BG), Italy, in 1995. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering in 2017 and a master’s degree cum laude in Automation and Control Engineering in 2019, both at Politecnico di Milano. His master’s thesis focused on the application of the Virtual Reference Feedback Tuning (VRFT) method for control of nonlinear systems with regulators defined by Recurrent Neural Networks (RNNs). In 2020 he was involved as research assistant at Politecnico di Milano in a project about mathematical models for energy certification of household appliances in collaboration with Electrolux. Since November 2020 he has been a Ph.D. student in Information Technology, Systems and Control area, at Department of Electronic, Information and Bioengineering (DEIB) of Politecnico di Milano.
