Team PolimOve got the silver medal in the simulated care race Hackathon#3, one of the preliminary contests for the Indy Autonomous Challenge, setting the fastest lap time among all the competing teams.
Team PolimOve, led by Prof. Sergio Matteo Savaresi, is an expression of mOve Lab, that carries out its research, innovation and technology transfer activities at the Dipartimento di Elettronica, Informazione e Bioingegneria in the areas of automotive controls, intelligent vehicles and smart mobility.
Indy Autonomous Challenge is a competition among universities to program autonomous-modified Dallara IL-15 racecars. After a series of preliminary contests, the final competition will take place on October 23, 2021, when the teams will compete in the world’s first head-to-head autonomous car race around the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
