“A distributed iterative algorithm for multi-agent MILPs: finite-time feasibility and performance characterization”

Alessandro Falsone has been selected as recipient of the Best Young Author Journal Paper Award 2019 of the IEEE Control Systems Society - Italy Chapter, for the paper: Alessandro Falsone, Kostas Margellos, Maria Prandini “A distributed iterative algorithm for multi-agent MILPs: finite-time feasibility and performance characterization”, IEEE Control Systems Letters, Vol. 2, No. 4, October 2018, with the following motivation: “The paper proposes a novel iterative scheme for the solution of mixed-integer cooperative optimization problems, which extends the existing approaches to a distributed set-up with a time-varying communication network, so encompassing more realistic scenarios in optimal resource sharing problems.” The prize will be awarded during the annual meeting of the Società Italiana Docenti e Ricercatori in Automatica – SIDRA on September 11-13, 2019 in Ancona.
