Cristina Silvano appointed Editor-in-Chief of ACM Transactions on Architecture and Code Optimization

Prof. Cristina Silvano from the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering at Politecnico di Milano, has been appointed Editor-in-Chief of ACM Transactions on Architecture and Code Optimization (TACO), effective June 2026.

TACO is a leading Open Access journal that publishes innovative research at the intersection of computer system architectures, processors, accelerators, compilers, and code optimization. The journal features contributions on new concepts, techniques, methodologies and performance evaluations. Particular emphasis is placed on insights that are valuable to computer architects, hardware and software developers, system designers, and users.

Authors of original articles published in ACM TACO get an open invitation to present their work at the HiPEAC conference, the premier European network event on computer architectures and compilers for high performance, edge and cloud computing, attended by more than 600 computer scientists and professionals.
