Prof. Lorenzo Luini from the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering at Politecnico di Milano has been elected as a member of the Board of Delegates of the European Association on Antennas and Propagation (EurAAP), the leading European association in the field of electromagnetic propagation and antennas.

The European Association on Antennas and Propagation is an international non-profit organization with scientific, educational, and technical objectives. Its aim is to develop and expand, on a non-profit basis, the European activities initiated by the Network of Excellence “ACE”.

In particular, EurAAP organizes and supports European conferences, especially the “European Conference on Antennas and Propagation”, as well as workshops and related events. It also supports schools, master’s programs, and doctoral studies in the field of antennas and propagation, promotes the exchange of information among European scientists and engineers, and encourages standardization.

The association fosters networking among companies, universities, local enterprises, scientists, and engineers in the field across Europe, promotes European research, and seeks full recognition of this area as a scientific discipline by the European Union. Finally, it develops international collaborations with communities, companies, and institutions in the sector.
