Bernardo Camajori Tedeschini, a Ph.D. graduate from the Department of Electronics, Information, and Bioengineering at Politecnico di Milano, has been awarded the 2025 Best Ph.D. Thesis Award by the IEEE Aerospace and Electronic Systems Society (AESS) Italy Chapter.
Each year, the IEEE AESS Italy Chapter organizes a national competition to recognize the three most outstanding doctoral theses in the fields of aerospace and electronic systems defended at Italian universities. Submissions are evaluated by a specialized committee composed of IEEE AESS Italy Chapter members and chaired by Prof. Silvia Liberata Ullo (Università degli Studi del Sannio).
Dr. Camajori Tedeschini received the award for his thesis, “Cooperative Machine Learning Methods in Distributed Systems,” developed within the Ph.D. program in Information Technology at Politecnico di Milano under the supervision of Prof. Monica Nicoli.
During his doctoral studies, he was also a Visiting Ph.D. Researcher at the Wireless Information and Network Sciences Laboratory at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), supported by the Roberto Rocca Doctoral Fellowship.
