The research of the Optical Communications – PoliCom group from the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering of the Politecnico di Milano, concerning fibre-optic sensors, was presented in an 8 pm TG1 news report aired on July 11, 2023.
The report described the ClimADA project, concerning the monitoring of the Adamello glacier, and showed the activity of the PoliCom group, carried out in collaboration with the Politecnico di Milano spin-off Cohaerentia, concerning the study of glacier deformation through a fibre optic system.
