Prof. Marcello Restelli from the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering of the Politecnico di Milano has received the Outstanding Paper Award for the paper "The Importance of Non-Markovianity in Maximum State Entropy Exploration", co-authored with Mirco Mutti (Politecnico di Milano, Università di Bologna) and Riccardo De Santi (ETH Zürich) and presented at 39^th International Conference on Machine Learning.

After the NeuIPS 2020 Best Paper Award obtained by Prof. Nicola Gatti's research team, this award confirms the research quality in the fileds of artificial intelligence and machine learning at the Politecnico di Milano.
