The final race of the Indy Autonomous Challenge, the world's first autonomous racecar event, will take place on Saturday, October 23d 2021 at 7.30 pm (CET) on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Among the 9 teams that will compete for the coveted prize of 1.5 million dollars there is also the PoliMOVE Autonomous Racing Team of the Politecnico di Milano, led by Prof. Sergio Savaresi of the Dipartimento di Elettronica, Informazione e Bioingegneria. The University of Alabama, the main sponsor E-Novia and the supporting sponsors Fluentis and Movyon will be supporting the team in this challenge.
The race will be streamed live on the Indy Autonmous Challenge website and on the Twitch channel @IndyAchallenge.
