Francesco Zanetto, currently Post-doc researcher at Politecnico di Milano’s Dipartimento di Elettronica, Informazione e Bioingegneria, won the award for the best doctoral thesis of the year 2021 announced by the Italian Society of Electronics (Società Italiana di Elettronica) with the thesis "Low Noise Mixed Signal Electronics for Closed-Loop Control of Complex Photonic Circuits" (supervisor: Prof. Marco Sampietro).

The ceremony for the delivery of the certificate and the 500 euros prize will take place on Friday 9^th, July 2021 in Trieste, on the occasion of the annual meeting of the Italian Society of Electronics.
