On Friday 30 April 2021 Prof. Samuele Grillo, professor of Electrical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, received the 2020 Outstanding Chapter Volunteer Award, conferred on him by IEEE Italy Section’s Power & Energy Society Chapter for his significant contribution as IEEE PES Italy Chapter Officer and IEEE Region 8 Zonal Representative.

The award ceremony was held on the occasion of the Industrial Distinguished Lecture by Enrico Maria Carlini (Terna Rete Italia) entitled “Terna's strategy and best practices to operate the Italian power system with high share of renewables”.
