Abstract
Prof. Daniele Ielmini of the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering at Politecnico di Milano is among the organizers of the 15th edition of the International Workshop on Characterization and Modeling of Memory Devices (IWCM²) and serves on its Scientific Committee.
The workshop will take place in Rogers Room (Building 11) at Politecnico di Milano on 1–2 October 2026, bringing together the international community working on nanoscale memory devices and emerging memory technologies.
The programme will provide an opportunity to explore the latest advances in understanding the physical mechanisms of memory, investigating new materials, and designing innovative architectures, fostering dialogue among researchers, academia, and industry.
The event will also host the Paolo Cappelletti Award 2026 ceremony. Named in memory of a pioneer in non-volatile memory technologies, the award recognises outstanding early-career scientists conducting research on memory devices, circuits, and systems.
