Abstract

Are you curious to understand what can go wrong in a Digital Transformation project—and, above all, how to avoid it? Join the event “What Went Wrong? Digital Transformation Case”, an interactive opportunity to test yourself on real-life cases presented directly by companies.

During the event, you will take center stage in real Digital Transformation cases shared firsthand by companies. Each company will present a real challenge faced in a technical project and invite you to put yourself to the test: you will analyze the context, identify what went wrong, and choose the solution you believe is correct between two possible options. You will be able to submit your choice in real time through a live poll, comparing your reasoning with that of other students. Immediately afterward, the company will reveal how the problem was actually solved, explaining the decisions made, the mistakes encountered, and the lessons learned along the way.

The session will conclude with a Q&A moment, giving you the opportunity to explore the case further, ask professionals direct questions, and gain a deeper understanding of the skills required in digital transformation projects.

An interactive and engaging format designed to strengthen your problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills—just like in the workplace.

The event, reserved exclusively for students and graduates of Politecnico di Milano, will be held in English and is part of the Career Service Award.
