Abstract
The Quantum Italian Forum represents an important opportunity for discussion on the latest developments in quantum technologies and their prospects for application in the ICT sector. The event is dedicated to analyzing the synergies between academia, industry, and institutions, with the aim of enhancing Italy’s strategic role in the European and international quantum landscape.
Quantum communications and quantum computing are today at the heart of a true technological revolution, capable of opening up unprecedented scenarios and generating significant impacts across numerous application domains. The results already achieved by research demonstrate a growing maturity of these technologies, which is driving the development of concrete solutions in view of their future availability on the market.
The study day will provide an up-to-date overview of the most relevant research activities and industrial experiences, together with an in-depth focus on the main national initiatives, their connection with European and international programs, and the prospects for development in the period following the PNRR.
The forum therefore aims to serve as a privileged meeting point to foster dialogue between the academic world, the productive system, and institutions, encouraging collaborations and shared strategies for the development of the Italian quantum ecosystem.
