Abstract
On the occasion of the European Robotics Week, the Politecnico di Milano will open its robotics laboratories to the public. This annual Europe-wide initiative aims to raise public awareness of the importance of robotics across multiple sectors and to foster interest in STEM disciplines (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), especially among young people.
The Politecnico di Milano has been at the forefront of robotics research since 1973, with projects carried out across several departments, including the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering. The university’s expertise covers fields such as autonomous and mobile robotics, industrial and medical robotics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, sensory perception, agricultural robotics, and human-robot interaction. Since 2019, all these areas of expertise have come together within the Leonardo Robotics Labs, a large space dedicated to multidisciplinary research.
On Saturday, November 29, 2025, starting at 2:00 PM, the Leonardo Robotics Labs (Building 7, Politecnico di Milano) will open its doors to visitors, offering a tour showcasing ongoing research projects.
Admission is free upon registration.
Participants may register for only one time slot. Each visit will last one hour.
