On Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at 5:30 p.m., the roundtable discussion “AI and Health” will be held in the Aula Magna of the Vittore Buzzi Children’s Hospital.
The event is organized within the framework of the FAIR – Future Artificial Intelligence Research extended partnership, funded by the European Union through the NextGenerationEU programme. Among the speakers will be Prof. Marco Masseroli from the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering – Politecnico di Milano.
Artificial intelligence is set to radically transform the healthcare sector, positioning itself at the heart of digital innovation. While its integration into healthcare poses complex challenges, it also offers remarkable opportunities: improving access to care, reducing costs, increasing treatment effectiveness, and ensuring patient privacy.
The roundtable will foster open dialogue among computer scientists, healthcare professionals, policy makers, and representatives of leading medical companies. The discussion will be moderated by journalist Michela Vuga.
Attendance is free but registration is required, subject to availability. Register here.
