Abstract
On April 20th, 2023 at 5.30 pm Prof. Piero Baraldi, Full Professor of Politecnico di Milano, will deliver the next talk of the series AI Seminars on "Artificial Intelligence for Predictive Maintenance". The seminar will be hosted by CEFRIEL in Mindspace.
Predictive Maintenance is an approach to deciding “just right” maintenance actions making use of condition monitoring data to: i) detect anomalies in production processes, manufacturing equipment and products, ii) diagnose the occurring abnormal state of operation and iii) prognose the future failure. As such, Predictive Maintenance can bring significant benefits to the reliability and safety of the system, product availability, and economics. This lecture presents the main challenges in the analysis and modelling of condition monitoring data to the deployment of predictive maintenance in practice and ways of addressing them provided by advanced artificial intelligence techniques, such as Physics Informed Neural Networks, Adversial Learning, Deep Domain Adaptation and Multi-Branch Neural Networks.
AI Seminars are a series of talks to foster the study of artificial intelligence in Milan.
An aperitif will be served after the seminar.
