Abstract

On October 1st, 2021 at 04.45 pm Fabrizio Indirli, DEIB PhD student, will hold a seminar titled “Embedded Systems for Autonomous Driving with Machine Learning“, as a part of his Summer School “ACACES 2021”.

Autonomous driving is expected to be the “Next Big Thing” in the future of vehicles, as it promises to revolutionize our everyday experience with road mobility. However, the development of a safe and functioning self-driving system poses several challenges and risks: ad-hoc regulations and design processes are needed to ensure safety, reliability, and proper performance. In this seminar, we will explore some of the prominent topics related to the design of embedded systems for autonomous driving with machine learning: real-time systems, model-driven design, safety standards, sensors, networking, Machine Learning models & methods.

Please, note that the event is meant for the internal personnel of the Department.
