Rossi and Parigi Polverini finalists for the best student paper award at IROS
2015 - PARIGI POLVERINI MATTEO, ROSSI ROBERTO
Roberto Rossi and Matteo Parigi Polverini of the MERLIN research group have been finalists for the best student paper award at the IEEE/RSJ IROS 2015 conference held in Hamburg. IROS is one of the two main international conferences in robotics, with 2136 submitted papers (of which 970 accepted). The paper, ranked as finalist in the category of the works whose first author is a student, has the title “A Pre-Collision Control Strategy for Human-Robot Interaction Based on Dissipated Energy in Potential Inelastic Impacts" and is authored by Roberto Rossi, Matteo Parigi Polverini, Andrea Maria Zanchettin, Paolo Rocco.
