Stefano Radrizzani was born in Como (CO) on September 29th, 1995.
He received from Politecnico di Milano a Bachelor’s Degree in Automation Engineering in 2017 and a Master’s Degree cum laude in 2019, discussing a thesis about the braking pressure control design of a brake by wire actuator for a Formula E. In July 2019, he was selected to take part in a summer camp for elite students by the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). In November 2019, he joined the mOve research group as a PhD candidate in Systems and Control at Politecnico di Milano, discussing his thesis on the energy management for non standard hybrid electric powertrain, in January 2023.
Since 2021, he is a teaching assistant for Automatic Control courses. In November 2022,
he became a Postdoctoral Research Assistant at mOve and spent the Spring semester at The University of Alabama, in The Center for Advanced Vehicle Technologies, as a Postdoc Visiting Scientist and Lecturer of Fundamentals of Hybrid Electric Vehicles.
In May 2023, he became a Junior Assistant Professor at Politecnico di Milano. His research interests are in the control and energy management of different classes of vehicles and powertrain architectures.
