Evans Atta Asamoah was born in Montecchio Emilia (RE), Italy, in 1995. He attended the Liceo Maxi Scientifico Sperimentale (Brocca Project) “Guglielmo Marconi” in Parma, where he cultivated a strong interest in mathematics and the sciences, participating in several regional and national competitions.
He later pursued studies in Biomedical Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano, where he obtained both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Electronic Technologies for Biomedical Applications (BTE). In October 2025, he defended his Master’s thesis entitled “Electrochemical Detection and Quantitation of Thiol-Based Molecules: a DNA Case Study.”
He is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the I3N Laboratory of the Politecnico di Milano, where his research focuses on the development of electronic microchips and the microfabrication of high-sensitivity electrodes for diagnostic applications and biomolecular recognition.
