Crowd4SDG è un progetto di ricerca finanziato dalla Commissione Europea, che esplora come la citizen science può monitorare i progressi verso gli obiettivi di sviluppo sostenibile (SDG's) e studia come l'innovazione di base può aiutare a raggiungere tali progressi.
Gli impatti dei cambiamenti climatici includono condizioni meteorologiche più estreme, che portano a inondazioni e siccità, che stanno mettendo le comunità urbane sotto stress crescente. Il crowdsourcing e la citizen science vengono utilizzati per monitorare e affrontare queste sfide.
Come puoi fare la differenza?
Registrandoti alla #Open17Water Challenge, tu o il tuo team sarete in grado di realizzare un progetto sulla resilienza idrica urbana con l'aiuto del crowdsourcing e della citizen science.
La sfida è un programma di innovazione per gli SDG (obiettivi di sviluppo sostenibile), che coinvolge una metodologia chiamata GEAR Cycle - (Gather-Evaluate-Accelerate-Refine). Il ciclo richiede sei mesi da un'idea iniziale a un progetto attuabile basato su un team, che affronta gli obiettivi di sviluppo sostenibile (SDG) rilevanti, utilizzando il crowdsourcing e la citizen science.
Requisiti di idoneità
# Open17Water Challenge è aperta a studenti delle scuole superiori e universitari di età compresa tra 16 e 26 anni.
