The paper "Optimization of long-reach TDM/WDM passive optical networks" authored by Marilet De Andrade, Anna Buttaboni, Massimo Tornatore, Pierpaolo Boffi, Paolo Martelli and Achielle Pattavina, received the 2015 Fabio Neri Best Paper Award assigned by the Elsevier journal "Optical Switching and Networking".
