Marco Vigneri obtained his B.Sc. in 2022 from the University of Palermo and his M.Sc. in 2025 from Politecnico di Milano, both in Biomedical Engineering. He then held a Research Fellowship at IFN-CNR in Milan focusing on laser microfabrication via two-photon polymerization and the design and development of new mechanical setups for biomedical applications. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. program in Bioengineering at Politecnico di Milano linked to the ERC Advanced project BEACONSANDEGG. His PhD thesis focuses on the development and calibration of a computational model to predict mass transport within an organism-on-chip platform modeling breast cancer progression, as well as on the intravital inspection of the fibrotic progression using positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy (PALS).
