Yinhe Zhu was born in China in 2000. He received his B.Sc. degree in Electronics Engineering from Nanjing Tech University (NJTech) and Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin) in 2022, and his M.Sc. degree in Electronics Engineering from Politecnico di Milano in 2025. His Master’s thesis focused on 0.18 µm CMOS technology and the design and optimization of a low-noise, low-power bandgap reference circuit for an ASIC developed for semiconductor radiation detectors (SRDs) used in space telescopes.Since November 2025, he has been pursuing a Ph.D., working on the development of next-generation ASICs for the readout of X-ray and γ-ray semiconductor radiation detection system with high energy resolution. Beyond his academic work, Yinhe is a passionate scuba diver and underwater explorer certified by GUE. He dives regularly in Lake Como and hopes to share his passion for the underwater world with others all the time.
