Laura Dossi was born in 1960. She received the Dr. Ing. degree in Electronics Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano in 1985. She worked with IBM in Vimercate, Milano, for two years, and then with Telettra, Telecommunication Central Laboratory, Milano. Since June 1988 she has been working with the National Research Council (CNR), initially in the Centre for Space Telecommunication Studies, which in 2002 was merged with other CNR research centres and it has become IEIIT institute. Her current research work concerns radio channel modelling and wireless communications. Since 1998 she has been appointing to give courses of signals and transmission systems as a contract professor by the Politecnico di Milano.
