Fabio Telesca was born in Melfi, Italy, in 1994. He received the master's degree (cum laude) in electronics engineering in 2020 and the Ph.D. degree (cum laude) in information technology engineering from Politecnico di Milano, Milan, Italy, in 2024. After one year of experience as a senior R&D engineer at Micro Photon Devices, focusing on the characterization and validation of SPAD-based systems, he is currently a senior post-doc researcher at Politecnico di Milano since December 2025. His main research interests include the design, modeling and characterization of InGaAs/InP and Ge-on-Si SPADs for near-infrared applications, SPAD read-out integrated circuits, and SPAD/waveguide integration techniques.
