On November 4th, 2026, at 11:00 am Gianvito Losapio, PHD Student in Information Technology, will give a seminar on "MLx Representation Learning & Generative AI" in DEIB, “Alessandra Alario” Seminar Room (Building 21).The seminar will explore the success of representation learning techniques in the form of generative AI, in domains such as vision, language and multi-modal data. The main topics will include Large Language Models, Multimodal Representation Learning, Topological Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, Machine Learning in Finance, Categorical Deep Learning, Hyperbolic Deep Learning and Uncertainty Quantification in Machine Learning.
The seminar will cover the contents of the Oxford Machine Learning Summer School, based on talks by leading experts in their field coming from institutions such as Google Deepmind, University of Oxford, Meta, University College London.
