Sommario
The 31st Ka and Broadband Space Communications and Navigation Conference, themed “Shaping the Next Era of Space Connectivity,” will take place from 20 to 22 October 2026 at the Politecnico di Milano, in the New Conference Hall of the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering (Building 20A).
Bringing together the international space communications community, the conference offers a leading forum for sharing technical knowledge, research findings and operational experience. Professionals from space agencies, industry, academia and research institutions will explore the latest advances in broadband satellite communications, navigation, Earth observation missions and related systems.
About the conference
Founded in 1993 and first held in Rome in 1995, the conference was established to highlight the pioneering achievements of the ITALSAT and ACTS satellite programmes in Ka-band communications. It has since evolved into an internationally recognised forum for high-frequency satellite systems, spanning Ka-, Q- and V-band technologies and supporting the development of higher-capacity, more accessible connectivity services. Its scope has also expanded to encompass mobile broadband, satellite navigation and Earth observation. Held annually, the conference is supported by space agencies, satellite operators, manufacturers and service providers worldwide.
