The Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering at Politecnico di Milano is pleased to host a special PhD in Information Technology–Industry Day, bringing together PhD alumni currently working in the AI industry and our current doctoral students.
This event is designed as an opportunity to connect academia and industry through open discussion, shared experiences, and networking. Alumni will present their professional journeys, discuss current research and innovation activities in industry, and reflect on how their PhD experience contributed to their career paths.
The day will feature keynote speeches by Diego Carrera from STMicroelectronics, Andrea Tirinzoni from the Fundamental Artificial Intelligence Research (FAIR) team at Meta, Simone Tognetti, CTO and co-founder of Empatica, and Francesco Visin from Google DeepMind.
The programme will include keynote speeches, a round table discussion, a Q&A session, a networking lunch, and a poster session.
