Sommario
On May 25th, 2026, at 11:00 am will we have a seminar of DEEPSE Forum series titled "Software Robustness facing Architectural Challenges".Understanding the impact of design decisions is indeed not trivial, even more so when considering software robustness properties that may be affected by external factors. For instance, software performance may exhibit significant variations due to multiple sources of uncertainty, such as heterogeneous workloads and fluctuations in resource usage. This talk presents a few methodologies for quantifying software performance metrics connected to architectural choices, thereby predicting issues and avoiding expensive repairs. Recent results in different domains, such as federated learning and cyber-physical systems, will be presented, along with challenges and future research directions.
