Sommario
The lecture represents a moment of reflection and dialogue on contemporaneity — an opportunity to reinterpret the past and critically examine the present, investigating the role of technology as a force capable of expanding imagination while redefining the boundaries of perception and awareness.
Martin Romeo will present his approach and technologies intertwining art, nature, and the human dimension, envisioning creativity as experience, relationship, and knowledge.
For over twenty years, his experimentation has spanned interaction and visual design, leading projects in branding, communication, and conceptual artistic research. His work takes performative forms involving dancers, interactive installations, dynamic sculptures, mixed reality, data visualisation, and AIgenerated audio-visual compositions.
The event is organized by Prof. Massimiliano Zanoni of the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering – Politecnico di Milano, as part of the master’s degree program in Music and Acoustic Engineering.
Registration to the seminar is required. Those who cannot be physically accommodated in the Auditorium will anyway be able to attend the lecture via Webex. For both in presence and remote modalities, the registration is required to attend the seminar.
