In an era of rapid urbanization, rising populations, and growing environmental concerns, the demand for sustainable, efficient, and safe transportation solutions has never been greater. Intelligent driving technologies, combined with smart transportation infrastructure, provide a pathway to tackle these challenges. From autonomous vehicles to data-driven traffic management systems, these innovations promise safer, cleaner, and more accessible mobility for everyone.
Intelligent driving and smart transportation leverage emerging technologies to make urban mobility more convenient, cost-effective, and secure. Against this backdrop, the 2025 2nd International Conference on Intelligent Driving and Smart Transportation (IDST 2025) will take place from November 24–26, 2025, in Milan, Italy, sponsored by Zhejiang University of Technology and co-hosted by Politecnico di Milano and Roma Tre University. Prof. Marzio Barresi from the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering will serve as General Chair.
IDST 2025 brings together leading academic researchers and industry practitioners to exchange ideas, share breakthroughs, and explore the latest advancements in intelligent driving and smart transportation.
