On September 16th, 2025 at 2.00 pm Rakshith Madhavan, PHD Student in Information Technology, will hold a seminar on "Classical computer vision techniques for object tracking" at DEIB BIO1 Room (Building 21).
Object tracking is the task of continuously following one or more identified objects as they move through a sequence of video frames, which allows for analyzing object trajectories, behaviours, and interactions; crucial for applications in security, surveillance, autonomous driving, and retail analytics. The talk will be on classical methods for object tracking, based on the lecture by Prof. Andrew French, in the BMVA Summer School 2025, in Aberdeen.
