On July 8th, 2025 at 4.00 pm the seminar titled "Mental Health at 7T"will take place at DEIB BIO1 Room (Building 21) and on line by Webex.
The talk of Irene Neuner will bridge Ultra High Field Imaging Techniques and simultaneous MR-PET-EEG with clinical data in mental health. It will propose a model for individual precision psychiatry via multimodal fingerprinting in the individual.

Biografia
Irene Neuner is a senior clinician scientist in neuroscience. She holds a professorship for Multimodal Imaging in Clinical Neuroscience at the RWTH Aachen and the Forschungszentrum Jülich, Germany. Clinically she serves as the vice chair and vice director of the Department of Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Psychosomatics at the University Hospital RWTH Aachen Germany. The focus of her and her interdisciplinary international team lies on imaging patients and healthy volunteers at ultra-high field strength 7T and in the innovation combination of simultaneous MR-PET-EEG imaging at 3T and translational aspects such as imaging brain connectivity at bedside in the hospital using simultaneous fNIRS-EEG.
