On December 3rd, 2020 at 3.30 pm, Emanuele Confalonieri, Massimiliano Patriarca and Antonino Caprì (Micron – team ACEMS) will take a seminar on "Emerging memory solutions for data centers and mobile systems".
Micron Technology is a world leader in innovative memory solutions that transform how the world uses information. For over 40 years, Micron has been instrumental to the world’s most significant technology advancements, delivering optimal memory and storage systems for a broad range of applications. This seminar will focus on the emerging memory solutions for data centers and mobile systems. In particular, the new CPU-to-Device Interconnect protocol CXL for datacenter/advanced computing systems and the LPDDR5 DRAM devices for mobile systems will be presented. Compute Express Link (CXL) is an open industry standard interconnect offering high-bandwidth, low latency connectivity between host processor and devices such as accelerators, memory buffers, and smart I/O devices.
The event will be held online via Microsoft Teams.
