The “3D Tissue segmentation, modelling and deformation” event into the framework of Bioingineering PhD School will take place from July 20th to 24th, 2020 in Politecnico di Milano, within the Atlas project.
The event will be divided into the following parts: theory, practice and hands on, Atlas pitches with students’ challenge. The reaserch topics will cross over an introduction to deep learning, 3D anatomical-image segmentation, intra-op video analysis, pre- to intra-op image registration, SLAM and biomechanical simulation.
On July 22nd, a lecture will focus on Medical Image registration for robotic surgery applications. The lecture will be held by Dr. Bogdan Maris, Full-time researcher @ ALTAIR Robotics Laboratory - Università di Verona.
