Chiara Guazzoni has been appointed Chair of the Awards Sub-Committee of the Radiation Instrumentation Steering Committee of the IEEE Nuclear and Plasma Science Society for 2016. Two awards will be given - as every year: the Radiation Instrumentation Early Career Award and the Glenn F. Knoll Radiation Instrumentation Outstanding Achievement Award.
The Radiation Instrumentation Early Career Award is given to a young investigator in recognition of significant and innovative technical contributions to the fields of
radiation instrumentation and measurement techniques for ionizing radiation.
The Glenn F. Knoll Radiation Instrumentation Outstanding Achievement Award is given to an individual in recognition of outstanding and enduring contributions to the field of radiation instrumentation.
Both prizes will be awarded at the 2016 IEEE Nuclear Science Symposium.
