Abstract
Si è conclusa con un evento alla presenza delle autorità comasche la fase di studio e progettazione del progetto Como Smarter City for Smarter Citizens (ComoSC2).
Como SC2 è un progetto di Digital Trasformation che si propone di sviluppare, implementare, testare e validare nuovi servizi digitali. Oggi Social media, Internet of Things (IoT), Wi-Fi pubbliche, reti telefoniche e log di applicazioni mobile consentono, ad esempio, di misurare quante e quali persone arrivano, sostano e escono da una certa area e questo può aiutare, di conseguenza, a quantificare e misurare gli effetti delle decisioni urbanistiche sulla vita della città. Queste stesse informazioni possono poi essere utilizzate anche per il marketing territoriale, i distretti urbani del commercio e le attività commerciali (negozi, bar) ma anche Musei e organizzatori di eventi.
Il settore Servizi Informatici del Comune di Como realizzerà il progetto in collaborazione con Emanuele della Valle ed il gruppo di Data Science del Dipartimento di Elettronica, Informazione e Bioingegneria (DEIB) del Politecnico di Milano che svolge ricerche multidisciplinari avanzate su metodi, tecnologie e strumenti per Big Data e Data Science.
