Abstract
The seminar will introduce the PowerVR Rogue compute platform, from the viewpoint of the OpenCL programmer, with a hands-on approach. Examples of OpenCL kernel optimization for PowerVR will be demonstrated.
Moreover, some issues in heterogeneous computing with PowerVR on existing platforms will be addressed, such as software cache management. Finally, the PowerVR Tools for development will be introduced and demonstrated.
The seminar is primarily addressed to Computer Engineering students, but is also open to all interested parties.
