Elisa Beretta won “Women in Robotics”

Elisa Beretta, DEIB PhD in Bioengineering, won the Women in Robotics project.
This project aims at spotlighting and supporting the research conducted by female roboticist. All papers that were submitted to IJARS (the International Journal of Advanced Robotic Systems) from October 17, 2014 to March 16, 2015 which had one female researcher as a co-author, have automatically entered the chances of winning the best paper award.
The nominations were based on the review comments and the overall quality of research presented in the papers. The paper of Elisa Beretta earned the highest number of votes.
