SEASTEMA is a company of the larger Fincantieri Shipyard Group operating in the field of automation systems for naval and commercial vessels.
Marine Automation 4.0 is the paradigm which guides the innovation process of SEASTEMA automation products: Automation 4.0 is based on the concept of “Cyber Physical System” or CPS, that is an IT system with computational, communication and control capabilities (i.e. the monitoring & control system of a shipboard machinery) enabling the interaction with the connected physical systems ( i.e. the same machinery). Among the key technologies of Automation 4.0 are the following:
