Abstract
Luca Mottola and Luciano Baresi have received the Google Faculty Award 2015.
The intent of the Google Research Awards is to support cutting-edge research in Computer Science, Engineering, and related fields.
Google will fund Mottola and Baresi's research for one year on topics related to computing over intermittently-powered embedded devices, such as energy-harvesting ones. The award also includes the opportunity to visit the Google HQs in Mountain View (CA, USA) to discuss the ongoing research with Google’s research teams and to give talks about the work.
