NESLab deploys IoT systems at the Circo Massimo in Rome

Abstract
Mikhail Afanasov, Naveed Bhatti, Koustabh Doloui and Luca Mottola deployed an Internet of Things system to monitor the environment at the Mitreo of Circo Massimo in Rome, in collaboration with Rome's Soprintendenza to Cultural Heritage and the University of Trieste.
The data collected at the site will inform upcoming restoration efforts and be made public over a cloud-based infrastructure.
The first results of the project have been presented at the "Sacrum Facere" congress in Trieste, November 17 - 19, 2016.
