Abstract
Cyber-security has become a very important topic in the last year. Nevertheless, we still talk too little of hardware security, wired inside a chip, because it inevitably makes the design and the production of an integrated circuit more complex and expensive, and because many people believe that, after all, software protections are enough.
The Dipartimento di Elettronica, Informazione e Bioingegneria del Politecnico di Milano, in collaboration with AEIT - AMES and the "Accademia di Scienze", is promoting an event to investigate the topic of hardware security in digital systems.
On September 27th, 2018, from 2.00 pm in DEIB "Emilio Gatti" Conference Room, a first conference will be held on this topic, with a series of speech ranging from the analysis of attack and prevention techniques to the examination of advanced hardware technologies such as PUF (Physically Unclonable Function), Secure Elements and integrated SIM.
Speeches could be held in English, if requested by most of the participants. The presentation material is in English.
The program is available in the attached file.
The registration is free, but required. The registration form is available online.
The slide of the speakers are available attached.
