Andrea Recchia was born on 7th July 1983. He graduated in July 2008 in Telecomunications Engineering at Politecnico di Milano. He joined the SAR group at Aresys s.r.l. (a POLIMI spin-off) in October 2008. He has been involved in several activities related to the main SAR ESA missions, from ERS to Sentinel-1. He cooperates with the DEI SAR group since 2010. His current research topic is the design of a geosynchronous SAR system, as a possible future ESA Explorer mission.
