Web, multimedia and databases
The research line on “Web, Multimedia and Databases” is organized along three research themes:
- Database management addresses innovation in the technology of modern data management systems and in the supporting design methods and tools, with special emphasis on query language design.
- Information design for the web concentrates on models, methods, languages, and tools for supporting the design and automatic generation of modern, data-intensive Web applications and on innovative search computing methods.
- Methods and applications for interactive multimedia addresses the conceptual modeling and evaluation of hypermedia and multimedia applications and focuses on applications and experimental activities.
