Networks
The research group on Networking was created in 1972 and has continuously grown up to the present size. The research focus has changed dynamically, addressing the most updated topics in the area, aiming to reach innovative theoretical results and practical results, stimulated by industry-funded research projects and contracts. The recent and present focus addresses three main areas, namely: wireless networks, multimedia Internet and broadband networks.
