Elisabetta Di Nitto is an associate professor at Dipartimento di Elettronica e Informazione at Politecnico di Milano, where she also earned her Ph.D. in Computer Science. She is teaching Software Engineering for graduate students and Foundations of computer science for undergraduate students. Her current research interests are mainly on software engineering, and in particular, on process support systems, service-centric applications, dynamic software architectures, and autonomic systems. She was researcher at CEFRIEL (a research consortium among technical universities and industry in the Milan area) and visiting professor at University of California, Irvine (USA). She has published and presented various papers on the most important international journals and conferences and has served in the program committee of various international conferences such as SEKE 2007, SEKE 2006, DEXA 2007, ICSE 2005, ASE 2005, ASE 2003, DEXA 2003, ICSE 2001, FSE-8 2000. She has been also program co-chair of the fifth International Workshop on Software Engineering and Middleware (SEM 2005), of the first and second International Workshop on Service Centric Engineering of Software (IW-SOSE06 and 07), of the workshops at ICSOC 2006, and of the demo track at ICSE 2007. She has been also responsible for various EU projects, in particular, at the moment she is scientific coordinator of SeCSE, principal investigator for Politecnico of CASCADAS, and is providing support for the coordination of ARTDECO.
