Born in 1924. Electrical Engineering Degree (1949, University of Rome). Until 1968 he worked at the Research Laboratores of F.I.Magneti Marelli GTE Telecomunicazioni S.p.A. (Director of the Laboratoires from 1966). Full professor of "Radiotecnica" at the University of Triests (1968-1974) and "Microonde" at the Politecnico di Milano (1974-1995). Vice-Chancellor of the Politecnico di Milano (1984-1987).
